Season 2003-2004 - 4 WinsIn December we attended our 4th Glenrothes Winter Challenge Tournament, we made it to the final for the 3rd time in 4 years. We won in an exciting game against Slough Tornados, one of the best reccy teams in the UK. This is the 4th trophy we have won in 2003. In April we attended our 2nd Riversdale Pirates Tournament, a good weekend was had by all both on and off the ice. We won the final against a very fit and talented REME Stallions, the army lads pushed us all the way. We look forward to meeting them again next year. On the 1st & 2nd of May we attended the annual Scottish Cup held for the 5th year at Dumfries Ice Bowl. We lost the final in sudden-death-overtime to Kirkcaldy Kings. It was a fast, exciting game that could have went either way. We would like to congratulate Kirkcaldy on their win. On the 05th & 06th of June we were honoured to attend the first Dundee Michelin Summer Cup. We beat the hosts in the final. It was a good weekend, the arena / bar staff were great and it was a well run tournament. On the 19th & 20th of June we attend our 2nd Kingston Cobras Tournament in Hull to defend our title. We beat the hosts in a fast, hard hitting final. We are looking forward to next years tournament. Season 2002-2003 - Treble WinnersIn November we attended our third Glenrothes Winter Challenge Tournament, we made it to the final but lost to Slough Tornados, one of the best reccy teams in the UK. On the 12th and 13th April we attended our first Riversdale Pirates Tournament, a good weekend was had by all both on and off the ice. We won the tournament and we hope our good sportsmanship and entertaining play will get us invited back next year to defend the title. On the 3rd & 4th of May we attended the annual Scottish Cup held for the 4th year at Dumfries Ice Bowl. We won the Scottish Cup Final 6-1 against Dundee Michelin. Zvonko Vukovic received the "Defenceman of the Tournament" award. Horace London received the "Dave Webster Memorial Fair Play" trophy for his good sportsmanship over the weekend. On the 14 & 15th of June we were honoured to attend the first Kingston Cobras Tournament in Hull. We won the final against Sheffield Stallions after sudden death overtime and penalty shots. Ryan "Cuddles" Cuddeford received the "Top Points Scorer" award. Season 2001-2002In November we attended our second Glenrothes Winter Challenge Tournament, we made it to the semi-final but lost to Slough Tornados who went on to win the tournament. On the 4th & 5th of May we attended the annual Scottish Cup held for the 3rd year at Dumfries Ice Bowl. We won the Scottish Cup Final 6-1, in a fast and exciting game against Dundee Michelin. Season 2000-2001On the 11th and 12th of November we attended our first Glenrothes Winter Challenge Tournament, we made it to the final but lost 2-1 to our "OLD" rivals Kirkcaldy Kings. On the 15th of April we won the Stirling Wolves “Danny McMillan” challenge for the fourth year in a row. On the 5th & 6th of May we attended the annual Scottish Cup held for the 2nd year at Dumfries Ice Bowl. We failed to qualify for the Cup semi-finals but went on to win the plate competition. Tony Daly received the "Forward of the Tournament" award. Dave Finch received the "Defenceman of the Tournament" award. We played a total of 28 games, won 21 games, lost 6 games and tied 1. Season 1999-2000On the 3rd of January we won the Paisley Recreational Millennium Tournament. On the 9th of April we won the Stirling Wolves “Danny McMillan” challenge. At the end of May we won the Scottish Cup Final in a fast, clean and exciting game against Dundee Michelin. After 5 minutes of overtime, the game ended in a 1-1 draw so the game was decided by penalty shots. Paul McGarvey received the "Goalie of the Tournament" award. We played a total of 28 games, won 21 games, lost 6 games and tied 1. Season 1998-1999At the start of April we reached the semi-final of the Dumfries Tournament but were knocked out by the Deeside North Whalers. At the end of April we won the Stirling Wolves “Danny McMillan” challenge. At the end of May we entered the Scottish Cup, we won our 3 games and had a goal difference of +15 but were unable to secure a playoff slot. The team received the "Scottish Cup Fair Play" trophy for only taking 1 penalty in the competition. We played a total of 29 games, won 18 games, lost 5 games and tied 6. Season 1997-1998At the start of April we were knocked out of the Dumfries tournament by the hosts in a sudden death penalty shoot out in the semi final. At the end of April we won the Stirling Wolves “Danny McMillan” challenge. At the end of May we won the Scottish Cup Final in overtime against Kirkcaldy Kings, a well-drilled and excellent hockey team. Neil Porteous received the "Player of the Tournament" award. Paul McGarvey received the "Goalie of the Tournament" award. We played a total of 26 games, won 21 games, lost 5 games and tied 0. Season 1996-1997At the start of April we won the Dumfries Tournament Final in an exciting game against Dundee Michelin. At the end of May we reached the Final of the Scottish Cup and left runners up to a very talented Dublin Flyers team. Vince Fabrizi received the "Forward of the Tournament" award.
