I started playing late, when I was 18. I played a season at recreational level then I had the chance to play at U21 level for the Aberdeen Alligators. I moved to Glasgow last year to work for Scottish Telecom, so I don't have the time to play at Scot One level in Paisley (and to be honest I'm not really that good), so I decided to sign for the Blackhawks. I have sat my year out so I am now eligible to play games and I'm looking forward to getting some ice time. The only downside to the current situation is that there is always things happening on Friday nights, but hockey seems to win every Friday.
